  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 2 tbsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Up to 1.5 cups boiling water
  • Food Colouring (optional) - we used the EC Craft Liquid Fun Dye (code 112295T)
  • Glitter

  • Mix the flour, salt, cream of tartar and oil in a large mixing bowl
  • Add a couple of drops of food colouring to the boiling water
  • Gradually add the coloured boiling water to the dry ingredients, stir constantly until it begins to feel sticky and the dough combines.
  • Once the dough has cooled down, add your desired amount of glitter and knead for a few minutes until the stickness has gone. This is very important to make the right consistency of dough.
  • NOTE: If it's still too sticky, add a touch of flour
