The Story Behind the Design
Growing up Nikita spent a lot of time swimming in the rivers of Kuranda with her brothers and cousins. During the wet seasons, many lilly pilly fruits were found floating throughout the river systems. Along with her cousins and brothers, lilly pillys were collected and shared together.
The colours represent the flavours of the Lilly pilly fruits being sweet and sour and also the land as they wash away with the rain.
