First Nations Indoor Cushion- Invisible String

Brighten up your learning environment with a large cushion, featuring a beautifully soft velour texture and feel. At the back of the cushion cover is a hidden zip closure, making it easy for you to wash it when needed. The gorgeous prints were designed by First Nations artists from around Australia.

Showcasing stunning artwork designed by First Nations artist Caitlyn Davies-Plummer, a proud Barkindji Woman, this artwork is named “Invisible String” created to represent the love story with my husband, Dale. The bottom of the artwork shows two separate campsites, representing both where Dale and I grew up. As your eyes rise up the painting, you can see two rivers coming into the centre point of the painting. These rivers represent the strong connection both Dale and I have to the different rivers we grew up around. The clapping sticks represent the traditional wedding present we were given by one of my Uncles on our wedding day. The campsite at the top of the painting represents the wedding and life together we’ve built since marriage. We’ve faced many ups and downs together, with our journey lines coming together, whilst acknowledging our pasts.

Dimensions: 53 x 53cm
Washing: Gentle cold machine wash inside out. Do not bleach or wring. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron not on the print side. Do not dry clean.

Includes: Polyester cushion insert filled with resilient Polyester Fibres that retain their shape for longer. Allergy Free, Odourless and Washable.
