This set of realistic fossil stones invites children to explore the natural world through hands-on investigation and sensory play. Each piece features detailed textures on both sides, encouraging children to examine, compare and discuss their discoveries as they engage with concepts of natural history and prehistoric life.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the durable resin and stone mix allows the fossils to be used across sand, mud, water and small-world play. Children can bury and uncover them during discovery play, press them into modelling clay to create imprints, or use them for rubbings to reveal fine details.
The set includes eight double-sided fossil stones, each measuring approximately 70–80mm, featuring ammonite, clam shell, fern leaf, preserved leaves, sea urchin, shark’s tooth, shrimp and trilobite.
