Support the development of pre-writing skills with this engaging motor skills training board. Children trace and follow the engraved pathways using the knobs, helping to strengthen pencil control, hand-eye coordination and the controlled movements needed for early writing.
Ideal for independent or educator-guided learning, the board encourages children to build confidence through repeated practice while developing fine motor control, visual tracking and concentration.
Made from durable Russian birch plywood and European beech wood, it is suitable for wall mounting or used on the floor or tabletops.
EYLF Learning Outcome Connections
Outcome 3.2: Children develop fine motor skills, hand strength and hand-eye coordination as they trace and follow the pathways.
Outcome 4.2: Children investigate different pathways and movement patterns while developing control, accuracy and persistence.
Outcome 5.4: Children strengthen the pre-writing skills and directional awareness that support early literacy development.
The Masterkidz Wall Elements learning board range is so versatile and flexible, that boards can be wall mounted using the Masterkidz wall mounting system or used with the free-standing or desktop windows. The flexible wall panel mounting system allows educators to easily swap over and set up their desired wall panel combinations, without use a tool, just the simple turn of a knob in less than a minute! This flexibility allows you to vary the themes or difficulty to suit such as sensory training, games, motor skills training, science, etc. If wall space is limited or use of the learning boards is desired off the walls or even outside, then the 46 x 46cm learning boards, easily fit neatly into either the free-standing or desktop windows, creating a new activity each time. Dual sided, 2 boards can be fitted to each window simultaneously. Made from Russian Birch plywood and European Beech wood (FSC).
