Discover the fascinating life cycles of a variety of animals with the Mini Beasts Specimen Slides & Viewer - Animal Life Cycles. This engaging set allows children to closely observe real preserved specimens representing different stages of animal development.

Illuminated by the included LED Slide Viewer, each specimen is revealed in remarkable detail, encouraging careful observation, scientific inquiry and an understanding of how animals grow and change.

The set includes one LED Slide Viewer (100 x 95mm), five life cycle slides (73 x 73 x 9mm) featuring the Cockroach, Frog, Spider, Crab and Scorpion life cycles, plus a teacher's guide. The viewer is powered by an alkaline button battery secured with a screw and provides over 800 hours of viewing time.

WARNING: This product contains or uses a Button Cell Battery, and whilst the battery is only accessible with the use of a screwdriver, we do stress that button batteries are hazardous if swallowed or if placed in any part of the body. These real-life specimens allow children to see Mini Beasts close-up. They are an excellent resource to promote scientific inquiry and investigation by engaging childrens curiosity about Mini Beasts. Ideal for a range of cross-curriculum activities in maths, science, art and language. Each specimen is encased in indestructible resin, supplied in a presentation storage box to keep them protected and can safely be used by young children. Teachers guides are included in each set.
