Multicultural Bamboo Rain Stick - 40cm

Introduce children to the soothing sounds of world music with this 40cm handcrafted bamboo rain stick. Inspired by the traditional South American instrument, it encourages children to explore sound, rhythm and listening through gentle movement and musical discovery. Inside, a spiral of bamboo pegs slows the movement of small stones, creating the calming sound of falling rain when the instrument is slowly turned.

How to Play: Slowly

• tip the rain stick from one end to the other, allowing the stones to travel through the bamboo tube and create the sound of gentle rainfall. Experiment with different speeds to discover how the sound changes and use it to accompany music, storytelling or relaxation activities.
