The Rainbow Coins Set supports colour exploration and open ended play, offering children a hands on way to engage with the principles of Goethe Colour Theory. This set includes 36 organically shaped wooden coins, with each of the twelve colours represented in three sizes (50mm, 60mm and 70mm), encouraging comparison, sorting and pattern making.
Crafted from sustainable, untreated rubber wood, each coin is approximately 20mm thick and designed for easy handling. Children can use the coins to explore colour relationships, count, stack and create imaginative play scenes, supporting fine motor development and early mathematical thinking.
EYLF Learning Outcome Connections
Outcome 4.2: Children develop a range of learning and thinking skills such as sorting, categorising and recognising patterns.
Outcome 4.3: Children transfer and adapt what they have learned from one context to another as they explore colour relationships and size variation.
