Artist and designer Donna Hensen is a descendant of the Wiradjuri People of inland New South Wales. Earlier in her career as an Aboriginal Literacy Tutor, Donna became aware of the lack of appropriate Aboriginal activities, making it more difficult for educators to teach Aboriginal studies. Donna has developed a series of products incorporating Aboriginal artwork and the Wiradjuri language to give insight and understanding and consequently, better appreciation of Aboriginal art and culture.
