Heavy Duty Strap Swing

This Heavy Duty Strap Swing is built for durability, strength and long-term use in controlled and supervised outdoor play settings.

The commercial-grade imported strap seat features an internal reinforced metal insert and slashproof construction, making it well suited to schools, early learning centres and other high-use supervised environments. Designed for everyday active play, the swing is supplied ready to hang and can be fitted with either galvanised or stainless steel fittings.

The swing is available with fixed-length or adjustable ropes to suit a 2.2mH bar height. The 12mm UV-stabilised polypropylene rope is professionally spliced with galvanised thimbles for easy connection to pigtail hooks or suitable hardware. Rope diameter, splicing and terminations are specified for playground use.

Please note, this swing is not designed for spinning. Repeated spinning can shorten the rope life. Where spinning is likely, a 360 degree spinning swing is the more suitable option. Check periodically that the seat still hangs level, as one side becoming noticeably longer than the other can be an early sign that the ropes have been excessively twisted. A care and inspection sheet is supplied with every order.

All Bellbird-supplied swings are made with rope lengths to suit standard 2.2m height swing frames (measured from ground to the bottom of the attachment - pigtail hook or other fixing). If your swing frame is different in height, contact us to arrange custom-made swings to suit. A small additional charge will apply.
