Indigenous Story Stones - Hunting & Tracking

This beautiful set of story stones are designed by a local Nyungar artist and depict Aboriginal symbols relating to Hunting & Gathering. The 12 Hunting & Gathering story stones are hand carved and engraved with indigenous symbols and comes with an additional hand painted and sealed stone.

To assist you to understand each symbol a factsheet is included explaining the symbols represented in the set. The stones and fact sheet come with their own hand woven dilly bag for storage.

These story stones are a multi use resource and will promote a greater understanding of Aboriginal culture and heritage and can be used to enhance literacy through storytelling, or as a visual prop when reading books about Aboriginal culture and heritage. They would be great to include in a creative area as rubbing stones and are ideal to support and promote conversations about animals tracks and hunting.
