This set of large tactile emotion stones supports young children to recognise and explore key feelings through hands-on play. Featuring clear, simple facial expressions, the stones help children identify and name emotions, building early emotional awareness and communication skills.
Sized for small hands, the stones are easy to grasp, hold and manipulate, encouraging sensory exploration and engagement. With two examples of each emotion, children can match pairs, supporting memory and early classification skills. Suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor environments, the durable resin and stone mix allows the stones to be used in sand, water, mud or sensory play spaces.
Each set includes eight stones (approximately 70mm), featuring happy, sad, surprised and angry expressions, with two of each.

This playspace creates an inviting and safe area for children to explore their own emotions and develop their emotional intelligence.
The space provides several avenues for children to discover different emotions. Children are provided with craft and drawing resources to
create their own emotional faces on the paper cutouts. We’ve also included hand-held mirrors to invite children to look at their faces to
practice emoting and recognising emotions when they see them. Our Emotion Stones are also included in the space for children
which provides visual representations of emotions as well as being a tactile sensory resource.
