This set of farmyard footprint stones encourages children to explore familiar animals through hands-on investigation and imaginative play. Each double-sided stone features a raised footprint on one side and the corresponding animal on the reverse, supporting matching, identification and early classification skills.
Children can press the stones into sand, mud or soil to create trails, then follow and interpret the tracks to discover which animal they lead to. These experiences invite discussion, storytelling and problem solving, while also supporting observation and descriptive language.
