This set of polar footprint stones introduces children to animals from Arctic and Antarctic environments through hands-on investigation and imaginative play. Each stone features a raised footprint on one side and the corresponding animal on the reverse, encouraging children to match, compare and identify tracks while learning about life in colder climates.
Children can create footprint trails in sand, mud or soil, take rubbings or press the stones into modelling dough to explore patterns and textures. These experiences support discussion around habitats, environmental conditions and conservation, helping children develop an awareness of the natural world.
Made from a durable resin and stone mix, the stones are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Includes eight double-sided stones, each measuring approximately 70–80mm, featuring polar bear, reindeer, wolf, musk ox, arctic fox, arctic hare, albatross and penguin.
