This set of woodland footprint stones encourages children to explore the natural environment through hands-on investigation and discovery. Each stone features a detailed animal footprint, inviting children to compare, sort and identify different creatures while building awareness of the wildlife around them.
Children can create footprint trails, take rubbings or press the stones into modelling dough to explore patterns and textures. The set also supports classification activities, such as grouping animals by habitat, diet or physical features, encouraging deeper thinking and discussion.
Made from a durable resin and stone mix, the stones are suitable for use in mud, sand, water or soil, supporting both indoor and outdoor exploration. Includes eight double-sided stones, each measuring approximately 70–80mm, featuring fox, squirrel, rabbit, frog, deer, buzzard, owl and mouse footprints.
