The Scallop Round Drum introduces children to early music making through rhythm, sound and movement. Designed for small hands, the included mallet is easy to grasp, allowing children to tap and explore different tones across the drum surface. The cut out sections on the wooden top create varied sounds depending on where the drum is struck, encouraging experimentation and creative expression.
As children play, they develop hand eye coordination, fine motor control and an awareness of rhythm and cause and effect. The smooth wooden construction makes this drum a durable and engaging addition to early learning environments, supporting both individual exploration and group music experiences.
