Number Stamping Stones

These chunky number stamping stones provide a hands-on way for children to explore early numeracy through sensory play. Designed for small hands, each stone features an engraved and painted numeral or mathematical symbol on the top, with a recessed design underneath for stamping into playdough, clay or sand.

Children can create number impressions, explore numeral formation and build simple number sentences while engaging in tactile, open-ended learning. The numeral stones include numbers 0–10, with odd and even numbers differentiated by stone shade to support visual recognition. Operation symbols are painted blue for easy identification, allowing children to begin exploring early number sentences and simple calculations. Position dots on each stone support correct numeral orientation and assist with number sequencing and recognition.

Made from a durable resin stone mix, the stampers are suitable for indoor and outdoor use and can be easily cleaned after messy play. Ideal for sensory trays, playdough activities, loose parts learning and early maths invitations.

This set includes 14 stamping stones featuring numbers 0–10, plus the symbols +, – and =. Each stone measures 40mm.
